Phil Corey
Phil started Seafood Exchange in 1979. With over 35 years of experience in the seafood industry, he has worked with seafood products from all over the world. Phil helped pioneer the development of value-added shrimp products in Ecuador in the 1980s, working closely with several restaurant chains to implement new product forms. He possesses a vast knowledge of shrimp production and food safety and has been actively involved in many key industry associations. Phil earned a master’s degree in microbiology from The Ohio State University.
Travis Larkin
Travis came to Seafood Exchange in 1997 from Darden Restaurants, where he handled shrimp procurement for Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Bahama Breeze. He possesses extensive knowledge of procurement, product development, and market issues in Latin America and Asia. His unique understanding of seafood issues at the restaurant level provides a great resource for product development and operations personnel. He has served on the executive committee of the National Fisheries Institute and the founding board of directors for its Better Seafood Bureau. Travis earned an MBA at Brigham Young University. |
